New here two betas

Yeah my first post of IUI and IVF boards!!

My first beta was 7/8 with 399 (16 day post)
Second beta was 7/11 with 1349. (20 day post)
They implanted two 5 day transfer
Are these twin numbers or could they go either way?!

I am having some cramping and pulling on the left side. worry worry worry

SO glad I am here. Anyone around the same post transfer days as me?

Hi!

I'm at 15 days post transfer of 2 5-day embryos, so just a bit behind you I think!

I just wanted to let you know that I too am having that weird cramping and pulling (almost feels like ovulation pains) and was reassured not only by the ladies on the general pregnancy board, but byt the nurse at the clinic that it's really normal. But, of course, keep an eye on it! (That's what everyone said to me, too!)

I'm hopelessly unaware of what single/twin beta numbers are -- they seem SO variable. I posted mine on the "worry worry worry" thread. Got another beta tomorrow -- hopefully it's still going up!

When's your first ultrasound? Mine's Monday!

Congrats on your pregnancy. I had higher numbers and am pg with one but you never know, only the u/s will tell. In any event, it looks like a sticky bean!! Good luck.

My betas are Thurs and then Monday. He is then going to try to do and ultrasound next Friday if numbers look good.

Congrats!!! Cramping and pulling is normal, so try not to worry.

As for your numbers, only a u/s would tell, but I would put money on a singleton

It isn't the number itself so much as the doubling rate that tends to indicate multiples and yours seem to be doubling nicely for a singleton (multiples usually double quicker than every 48 hours.)

I have the same beta date as you! I have been looking for someone who shares the same time schedule. I am so nervous, scared, and excited at the same time. Do you feel different? I have pulling and some random pains but that is really it. Good luck on Monday!

Hi!

Whitney, today was my 4th beta. Still don't have results! Probably not till about 4 Eastern. <sigh> (My numbers went like this: last Thurs, 8dp5dt - 71; Sat - 120; Monday - 263; waiting on todays!

Monday is the first ultrasound - so scary!!
Do I feel different? Mm, mostly I'm exhausted. Really exhausted. I have that feeling like I'm going to get my period any second (that's been there since about 5dpt) - very full and pressurey. And those weird cramps, twinges, pulls.

Marya: Is it normal to get these sort of sharp twinges every now and then? I had them on one side briefly, this morning I got a different kind right in the middle down really low (sort of like just above the pubic hair -- sorry if TMI!). Freaked me out. But then, everything is freaking me out.

Catpaws: Any word yet on the beta result??

I had my beta pulled today and have to wait until tomorrow for the results! Last time the overnight wait resulted in me having a dream that I actually had a horse embryo and not a human embryo.
I am also having loads of pulling, shooting pains, heaviness and occasional cramping. (and the things are only a few milimeters big!)
Cant wait to here your beta.

Hi catpaws!

My beta yesterday was 783 - so doubling just slightly faster than every 48 hours. Whew! U/S Monday which will tell more.

Oh, I'm having all those weird cramping pains too. Those sharp twinges yesterday morning were scary! They say they think it was gas. I told them I'd never felt it like that before and they said well, things are different already in there and might make something as simple as gas feel different! It's gone now, thankfully! But yeah, I've got that heaviness and pressure type feeling (like AF is coming) too! Waiting to hear your result!

(U/S for you is a week from today, right?)
