multiples?

Hi All, I am new here...I am newly pregnant with my second baby...my nubers are 16dpo - 1740 and 18dpo - 4035...these are much much much higher than I had with my dd....do you think I may be having twins or do you know why else they could be this high and doubling so quickly???

Some people just produce HCG very quickly. My sister did with each of her 4 pregnancies and she never had multiples. Do you have an u/s scheduled soon? Good luck.

Thanks for responding...my u/s is not until July 26 which is an extremely long time to wait!!!! I am just very suspicious as my numbers with my dd were 107 at 13/14 dpo(iui) and 315 at 16/17 dpo(iui) which are much much lower than this pg!

Is this a natural pg or did you take fertility medicine? If you took fertility drugs then you may have multiples, otherwise probably just a healthy singleton. In any event, I wouldn't worry!

just an update...due to a yucky stomach thing I ended up in the hospital...the good news is they did an u/s and baby is great saw the hb and everything is where it should be...and it is only one!!!! Thanks for your responses!!!!
