I can FINALLY post on this board! Beta in
Hello, All-
After 8.5 years of IF procedures, I received my first good news... my beta at 12dp3dt (6/22) was 91! However, I am worried because my second beta at 14dp3dt (06/24) was only 129... it didn't double. I'll retest on 19dp3dt (Wednesday 06/29)... in the meantime I'm hoping for a nice big leap in numbers so I can remain on the pregnancy board. Thanks, -debbie

Congratulations!!! Beta number are supposed to double between 48-72hrs. I am surprised though that they are waiting that long to do a 3rd beta. Did they say why? I will keep you any your little miracle in my thoughts and prayers for a safe and healthy pg and baby.

Good luck Debbie, I am sorry they are making you wait so long. I hope that your beta is nice and high on Wed.
My 2nd one was 48 hours after my 1st and didn't double but I had a 3rd 72 hours after my 2nd and it had jumped to 1544 (from 276). I go tomorrow for my 4th beta.

3rd Beta reults are in... whew!
First, thanks to each of you for the encouraging words. You all really helped me to hang in there the last few days.... I just got the call form thr RE's office and I'm back on track beta-wise!!
12dp3dt beta = 91 14dp3dt beta = 129 (concerned here) 19dp3dt beta = 2181 Yeaaaaaaahhhhh The nurse calcuated that she would have expected a number around 1300 at the "normal doubling" rate. So, I'm back on track and then some. At least for now, next beta is on 07/05/05. Ha. Thanks again, -debbie |
