Help with Beta

Hi Girls,

I just received my first Beta (at 18dpiui), which is 40. Is this too low? With my first preg. it was around 400 17dpo (natural cycle). This time I O-ed pretty late, but since I had a trigger shot and then an IUI, it would be atleast 16dpo when I had the beta done.

Please help with any info and hope !

Nope not at all. With my dd my beta was only 22 and that was low I was told but it wasn't. She'll be 2 next month. I think it's fine. Congrats!

Mine was 22 at 14DPO and I thought that was low but the doctor wasn't concerned at all. I'm pretty sure mine implanted about 12DPO-13DPO because I had implantation bleeding on 13DPO. The doctor told me they aren't so concerned with one number as they are with serial numbers, they like them to double between 2-3 days (48-72 hours). Now mine are doubling just fine in 45 hours! Good luck!

sounds fine. Mine was 22 with my dd at 10dpt and she's nearly 2. ALL beta numbers are different and cannot really predict an outcome from just one.

I did not have an IUI, but I did IVF. My first beta was on 52. I am currently 22w1d with a little girl. I think that your number is fine.

Good Luck,
Jen

Girls,
Thanks for those words of encouragement. Unfortunately I had a chemical preg. In a way I am relieved because after 2 years of trying and guessing, I atleast know I can conceive. I must know that because I have my ds who will turn 4. But for some reason I always questioned the sperm meeting the egg in my case...no more. Well onto finding the reason for my m/s and moving on.

Thanks again.
