Please help
Ok, my #s didn't double in a week. they went up only about 150. My mom's friend said that one girl at work had that happened and before the d & c they did a u/s and found a baby. one twin had died. could this be? I have a d&c thurs. Preop appt. tomorrow. Should I ask for an u/s?

Hi Mere,
Yes, a vanishing twim can cause your beta numbers to stall for a short time. In fact, it happened a few months ago to another member of this board. Do you have an u/s scheduled soon? I hope you get some answers. Genevieve P.S. DEFINITELY request an u/s if they don't offer to do another.
