low estrogen question

This question is actually for my sil. She has been suffering 2ndary IF and going through numerous IF procedures. She has a history of repeat chemical pregnancies and very low E2-even during medicated cycles. She and her dh were on a break from treatment b/c she just had another chemical (IUI) and they got pg on their own. Her beta and P4 started really low (15 and 7, respectively). Her E2 was initially 192. She was put on prometrium twice/day. Her beta has been rising as it should as well as her P4; however, her E2 dropped. I've been through ivf, but don't know enough about estrogen levels in pregnancy. It wasn't a concern during my ivf, so I'm of no help to her. I've been looking all over the internet, but can't find any clinical info. Can someone please help.

Her E2 levels are as follows:
beta 1-192
beta 2-130 (4 days later)
beta 3-156 (4 days later)
beta 4-148 (6 days later)
beta 5-she had done this morning, still waiting on results

Her RE is concerned about this, but hasn't given her any supplements. Can you supplement during a natural pregancy. The RE did increase her prometrium to 3x/day. She did have an u/s 4 days ago showing a yolk sac and fetal pole (I think, but not sure about the fetal pole).

Anyway, estrogen should be rising, correct? Her office keeps saying it levels off at some point in the pregnancy, but I thought during 4-6 weeks it should be increasing. Her office said initially they wanted to see it over 200. So, at this point in her pregnancy it should be well over 200 b/c it should be increasing. She has started spotting-brwon to pink-and is now on bedrest. What do you guys think about her estrogen? Thanks so much.

Amy
