very low rising beta # is that normal?

New here
I just went through my first IVF Cycle and we had to cryo-preserve because my doctor was worried i would have OHS (ovarian Hyper stimulation)
Transfer was on 5/13
1st beta 5/24 was barely 10
2nd beta today 5/26 only 14
Doctor said it was up to me if i wanted to continue the meds until Tuesday and re-test but he did not sound too positive, not sure what to do

Just wanted you to know I'm hoping and praying your beta continues to rise. From other posts I've read, it seems like it is possible. Hang in there.

You are certainly in a tough place. Maybe you could do one more beta before deciding whether to discontinue your meds or not? You will find those miracle stories where the betas started very low and then a healthy baby was the outcome...so I'm not so sure I'd give up hope yet.

I am praying for you...
Allison

I know it's hard, but I'd probably keep going and have another beta. I've heard those stories too & you just never know.

I'd keep going and have another beta. As long as there is possibility, don't stop the meds. I was convinced I was having an ectopic or m/c and almost stopped my vitamins, and I cried and mourned and everything. As you can see by my signature, both RE and I were underestimating my little guy!

SM, don't give up just yet. My friend had a first beta of 10, then of 15 and she now has a happy, healthy 1 1/2 year old boy! She was in my house crying because her RE told her it was over, and two weeks later, she went back in because of unexplained spotting, and took another beta and it was well over 1500. She just didn't have very high levels, but high enough to carry a baby!!!

Good luck to you, I learned by my friend, never to underestimate our bodies and miracles that can happen! God bless you!

Samantha

SM -- I am sooo sorry to hear this and am sending you a lot of hugs...

I had my first beta of 15 and won't know the results of my second beta until today or tomorrow.

All I can do is pray at this point....

God bless to you and your family.

Sonya
