3rd Beta In

Well, it appears that I will remain in Beta Hell for awhile. Here are my numbers from my FET on 5/4 when I transfered 2 blasts:

13dpt 109
15dpt 156
17dpt 196

This is soooooo much worse than the 2ww!!! I just really want closure. My RE wants me to continue meds and have an u/s on 6/2. So, two more weeks of waiting. I have so little hope left, but my nurse continues to be encouraging...tells of a nurse at the clinic who had numbers worse than mine and now has a healthy baby. I have no cramping, no spotting, no nothing. Ugggghhhh!

Any wise words???
thanks,
Allison

I'm right there, too. This is so much harder than anything else we've gone through because it seemed like such a miracle.

You are both in my prayers.

Allison- I'm sorry you are in beta he!!. I personally would ask for another beta? 6/2 seems far too long a wait...at least you will see if your numbers have gone up any?

Best of luck to you.

slow betas and just saw heartbeat!

I was sure I had a blighted ovum so when it was time for the ultrasound I was ready to schedule the D&C that afternoon. Much to my surprise they saw a heartbeat even after these numbers!..

12 dpo 25
15 dpo 48
19 dpo 224
22 dpo 618
26 dpo only 940!
28 dpo 1221!

Went in for the ultrasound one week after last blood work and saw heartbeat! It was 112 bpm...still scared of course but dr. says there is hope. Ultrasound more indicative to what is happening then beta numbers.

Hang in there everyone! I had pretty much given up and here I am!

Any insights? I go back on Tuesay (to my original lab).

Thank you.

Hope Reed,

I think your numbers are within the normal rate and are rising appropriately. From what I understand, a rise of 60% or more every two days is what we're looking for. I'm sure your next test will continue to indicate that things are progressing as they should. Let us know how it goes! Sending you positive thoughts and hopeful prayers...

Allison

Hi Allison,

Thanks for the encouraging words. I'll hope for good results for you as well. I think we all have to remember that our bodies aren't hcg machines!
