Beta rising too fast? Ectopic?

Hi there,

I just got my 3rd beta result today:

17dp3dt -1100
14dp3dt -233
11dp3dt -63

My RE is telling me he is concerned cuz my beta #'s are rising too fast? He thinks it may one of 3 things: 1) normal preg 2) ectopic 3) chemical.

How can this be a chemical if my #'s keep going up so high? And does anyone know why an ectopic preg would make the numbers jump up faster than normal?

I think he's being paranoid but who knows? I go in on Friday for an u/s and beta again. He said we should know for sure if it's ectopic or not.

Any info would be appreciated!

I am not sure about anything, but I did not think chemical went that high. I know eptopics can go really high, but so can mulitples (and sometimes a singleton). I think you are just going to have to wait it out. Sorry I am not more help! Please update us when you know.
