Beta update..so grateful!
Hello Ladies!
I finally made it to this board after four long years of dealing with infertility and loss. 11dp3dt: HCG 337, Prog.191 14dp3dt: HCG 1452, Prog. 305 We originally planned to do PDG for selection purposes, but this cycle had the worst quantity we ever experienced with 4 fertilized embryos on day three. Stress set in over the weekend of Mar. 5th. I feared losing embryos if we performed PDG biopsies along with the impact of having them in the lab for 5 days. I elected not to go through with PGD and insisted on having a day 3 transfer without PGD. DH and I had a horrible fight over my decision to more forward on day-3 without testing. He figured we wouldn’t learn anything if tests weren’t done and he thought I was acting hasty. It was crazy to get through to the right people at the clinic over the weekend. Luckily I received great advice from ladies on this FT board. I kept calling the emergency pager until my doctor was located to call me back directly. I was more concerned about having an opportunity to conceive. It wasn’t in my best interest to find something wrong at the risk of degrading so few embryos. Now I’m so happy that I followed my gut instincts. I also believe that my strength and education stemmed from all the support from great people on the FT boards. I learned what was best for me and how to take control my situation. We still pray for continued health and happiness through this new journey. I don't take anything for granted and wait in anticipation for good news every week. 34 yrs TTC 4 yrs, DH is 39 IUI#1 pg\mc 9w IUI#2, 3, 4, 5 All BFN IUI-IVF#1 IVF#2,3 FET#1,2 Natural Chem. pg\loss IVF#4 BFP=11dp3dt: 337, 14dp3dt:1452

Hey Rach. Congrats!
I just wanted to say your HCG numbers look great, and the way your progesterone levels look there could easily be more than one in there. When do you go for an u/s? Take care.

thanks everyone
Yeah, my progesterone is high due to all the support medications. My RE had me on 2cc of PIO along with 200mg of prog. suppositories day an night. The nurses told me to knock down the prog. to 1cc per night, but I'm still taking the suppositories. I get checked again next Monday, Mar. 28th and maybe then the prog. dosage will be lowered again.
Thanks for all your warm thoughts. So far, so good. |

Rach.. I know how you feel about those PIO shots. I've been on 1 1/2 cc for a while. I'm starting to run out of good spots.
