Hi. I was just curious of what ever happened with your spotting. I see that your beta's are doing great! I spotted a lil today again and of couse I called my doctor, but he thinks Im a freak. Ive read a thousand things that have said that its common, Im just obsessessed with hearing other good outcomes and hearing what other doctors are saying. Maybe I am crazy

hi want2bmom,
i started spotting on 10th march at night, (10dp3dt) , it continued thru 11th march and stopped completely by 12th march midday. but it was the most freaked out 2 days i hd. after that no spotting at all. my doc said its probably bcoz we hd transferred 6 ( bcoz of not so good grades) and some must be attaching while some may be shedding off. also the uterine lining and cervix are so well supplied with blood right now , i guess we sh not be too alarmed if some spotting occurs again. the growing uterus may cause some small bl vs to break off. when r u going for uyr ultrasound? mine is next friday. |

I spotted for about an hour today and it stopped, Im still freaking. Im having my third u/s tomorrow. My first u/s sound was last Wed and we saw one sac,but it was too soon for the heartbeat, then I spotted last Thursday (it seems like a trend for me) and had another u/s last Friday and actually got to see the heartbeat. The doctor did tell me that he thought my job was too stressful and told me I couldnt go back to work until my next u/s which was scheduled for the 21rst, but after spotting today, he said he will see me tomorrow morning. I think Im on of those patients that really gets her moneys worth as far as seeing the doctor.

u know what, we r right to worry becoz at this point, this is the most imp thing for us. whereas for the docs, we r just another patient and just another statistic. we sh not hesitate in calling the doc back again n again ( i call it hounding
) if something is worrying us. with my doc, i just email him whenever i need to ask him anything, and he replies back himself , usually within 2 hrs, his best has been 10 mins!!!!! i hope everything goes well yr scan tommorw , plse let me know . i was thinking, now im worried that i hv no symptoms as yet. how can i be so ungrateful?? just a few days back i was praying that my 1st attempt( at any kind of ART) at ivf icsi sh work and it did too. i dont forget to thank God everyday , esp after i hv read what ppl hv been thru on this board . |

I completely understand, I find myself complaining about not having symptons and then I read the tww board and feel sooo selfish. We should def feel grateful and I speak for myself when I say that I wish I could just relax, stop questioning everything and enjoy this time.

I went for my u/s today, its amazing to see how much bigger in just a week. The doctor says that I still have blood from last week that was coming out and that there is still some that he sees that will come out also. He also had lab work done and everything was cool, my beta was over 43,000. He thinks that I just need to relax and said that after they see a heartbeat, there is a 90% chance of going full term.... that made me feel much better.
