I would imagine you can. Mine was only 8.5 on the day of my first beta.

I spoke to REs nurse yesterday. He wants me to do another HCG, progesterone and estradiol on Monday -AND- he wants me to come in for a sonogram on Monday!!!! I'm so excited. It got bumped up from the 28th to the 14th. Guess he wants to know how many lil guys are in there too.

Thought I would reply as I am in the same boat as you ladies....

43 transferred 5 great embies

first bets at 13dp3dt was 776

second beta at 16dp3dt was 3594

now just waiting for u/s on March 22 and wondering if more than one.

What do you think?

Susan

Hi SusanQ, I think I remember you from another post at IVF Connections? What strikes me as unusual is how similar our betas are: my 11dp3dt beta was 776, and 14dp3dt beta was 3,684. I think everyone is speculating I'm having twins. We transferred two great embies. I'm surprised they transferred 5 for you - wow! I'll be 43 in 3 months. Our u/s is on the 21st so you and I will know within a day of each other. I don't know about you but this wait is very hard on me. I need to know that something is going on. I haven't had any m/s, just peeing more than usual. And I'm bloated, but have been since I've been on the meds. I'm very excited to know the results of your u/s - with betas like ours, we must be having the same thing! One would think, right? Anyway, I wish you well in your wait...you and I can fret it out together as I know exactly what you are going through!

Hi girls. Well, I had my ultrasound today. They only saw one yolk sac. It's kind of a load off.. didn't know how we'd handle two kiddos at once. My HCG went up to 8709, estradiol is at 237, and prog went DOWN to 20.7. I'm a bit concerned about the progesterone level. I hear that it fluctuates, but I wouldn't figure it would that much. I'm already on 1 1/2 cc of progesterone in oil shots. I hope it's not a bad sign. Everything looked fine on the ultrasound. I'm waiting to hear back from dr about my HCG results and to see if he wants me to do anything different.

Hi Susan! Congratulations!! Just wanted to let you know my progesterone level had dropped also. It did go back up, and it's been over 40 every time they've checked since. I'm not on the shots, but I am on a suppository.

Congrats and good luck!

Thanks for the reply Kelly. Helps takes some of the worrying I was doing away. I'm still waiting to hear back from RE to see if he wants me to do anything differently.
