Absolutely! I had no idea what was going on This being my first DE IVF I had no idea what to expect. My bb's were sore, but they were sore from the PIO even before the transfer. It wasn't until after my 2ww that I had any symptoms. No worries if you haven't "felt" anything, a lot of people don't during this time. Best of luck on your beta!!

The only symptoms I had was cramping which I thought was my period coming. I was so convinces I had to be talked into going for my beta because I thought for sure I was getting AF. Turns out it was a positive for pregnancy. I am now 22 weeks and counting.

Good Luck!

Hello! My transfer was the 28th also. I test on the 9th and I'm 7dp5dt today. I've had AF cramps on and off for five days but that's about it. But this is very normal. I do have sore boobs however it's from all the Estrogen and PIO because they were that way before transfer.

Hang in there! When's your beta?

my 1st beta is on 14th of march , another week to go.
transferred 6 not so good embies on day 3 . lets see how it works out.
had 1 7 celled, 2 4 celled late bloomers and 3 6 celled with lots of fragments. doc adv to transfer all of them. lining was good. lets see what God has in store for me.

Sorry simi60 that I didn't explain what 12dp6dt means! It is 12 days past a 6 day transfer. If you combine the two numbers it is how many days past ovulation you are (even though I did IVF). So with 12dp6dt, I would be considered 18 days past ovulation. Does that help? I remember what it is like to be new and have no idea what people are talking about! Feel free to ask any other questions. I'm no expert but I could possibly help!

Hi Simi,

I saw your post and thought I'd give you a bit of encouragement. While preparing for my 4th IVF cycle I was finishing my bachelors and decided to do a paper on PGD and the benefits to women of advanced maternal age. I had interviewed a number of doctors in the process and one in particular who strongly believed that we should be very careful when dismissing those embryos that look less than perfect. At his clinic they have seen many women deliver healthy babies with less than perfect embies.

He is very well respected in his field and I was so impressed with what he had to say that on my 4th IVF cycle, I had insisted that in addition to the "beautiful" embies, they transfer the two 4 celled embryos as well. This was the first time I had received a positive beta! I truly believe it was the slow grower that stuck. Unfortunately, I had a chemical pregnancy, but we later discovered through PGD that I had egg quality issues. I should mention that throughout my 4 IVF cycles, most of my embryos "looked beautiful", grew as expected, and were assumed to be quality embryos. It wasn't until the PGD that we discovered otherwise, which supports Dr. V's theory.

Don't sell those little guys short! Best of luck.
