Low Beta #'s, Slowly Rising
Hi everyone,
I'm been worried about my beta numbers. I had a 3 day transfer IVF on February 8. I've seen many posts that have low beta #'s but then take a big jump. Mine are going up but have not doubled. I go back to my DR. on Thursday for more bloodwork. He seems optimistic but I'm just going nuts. I would appreciate any comments!! Thanks!! 14dpo3dt- 60 prog. 9 16dpo3dt- 82 prog. 51 18dpo3dt-102 prog. 48.1 20dpo3dt-207 prog. 59.1

Hi there. I understand your concern. I too am battling
slow rising betas. My first beta 16dp3dt was 157. 4 days later it was 338, which makes a doubling time of 88 hrs (yuck!). My RE seems optimistic. Says he has seen slow rising betas produce healthy, viable pregnancies. I wish you the best of luck. Keep us posted! Malarie |

I am going through the same thing. They thought it was an ectopic pregnancy, but ruled that out at an u/s on tuesday.
Betas: wed: 251 fri: 385 tues: 893 thur (finally!!!):2050 There is still hope for you. At the u/s Thur, before I had my bloodwork results in, they doc said I had a 70% of m/c, but the nurse who called with my beta results seemed extremely pleased and said that I am not out of the woods yet but that I am heading in the right direction..., which is better than before. I am for another beta and u/s this thursday to hopefully find the heartbeat.... Hez |

Malerie- This beta stuff is horrible!! But hopefully we can all get through this and have healthy pregnancies!!
Hez-Thanks for your encouragement!! Good Luck Thursday on your u/s!! Here's an update on my beta #'s 23dpo3dt-713/ yesterday 24dpo3dt-937/today So it's getting a little better, but I'm still a little cautious!! I had an ultrasound today and they think there was a small sac but its still too early to tell. I go back Monday and have another u/s and bloodwork!! I've been praying really hard!! Good Luck to everyone!! Steph
