New here concerned about beta's not doubling

Hello I had 3 ++hpt and went to confirm with beta hcg iam not sure how far i am because i havent had a period since november 2004. I am prob only few week i had implant spotting around the 11th of this month.. well my frist beta was 266 on 2/19 @ 2am in ER. my second Beta done by my ob was 346 2/20 @6pm so within like 40hr it only went up 80 and its suppost to doulbe in 48-72 hr from my understanding.. she is going to repeat tomorrow to see if it may double by then.. iam so worried about this pregnancy has anyone had successful pg with low rising betas?

Well.....There are alot of sucess stories on low rising beta. Unfortunalty I am not on of them. At this moment my beta is 15 and waiting to go down to 0. My beta started at 24 7dpt and 36 9dpt and then 15 and that is where I am at. But you #'s are higher so maybe that is good. I will keep you in my thoguhts and prayers so keep me updated. I wanted to add something I read...I have read that some women take anywhere from 2-3 days to double.....so maybe your body takes the 3 days? *shrug* I am just as confused when it comes to this. I would read jenbeths thread. Her story is neat. Her beta went down and now is on the rise!

You cannot compare betas taken at different labs. All labs have their own calibration for their equipment. You can't use two different labs data to do a doubling comparison. Wait for your doctor to do the second draw. The fact that it is going up is a good sign!

Ok here is the beta verdict if you didnt see new posting.

I was wrong about 1st inatial beta but here is new one

2/19 @2am 236
2/20 @ 6pm 346 (different lab as 1st)
2/21@ 12n 500!! same lab as 1st so my numbers did double.

Also my progesterone was 14 on 2/19 is this ok you think for early prenancy.

I go back wednesday for 3rd beta and continue every 48 hour until they go over 1500 then from my understanding you should be able to see sac on ultrasound at this level!!! good luck to all!!
