Question New here --> Beta #'s

Hi everyone!

I'm brand-spankin' new to this board.
I was on the IUI and BBT (infertility) boards up until I just got my BFP beta this past Monday.

I'm wondering if someone could maybe tell me how these numbers look and if they look a little high -- maybe possibly indicating multiples?

I have to wait until March 9th for my first u/s because RE is going on vaca. Darn. I think I'll be 7 or 8 wks pg by then.

Just some background. I did 2 IUI's a day apart last month using donor sperm. No meds, just HCG shot.

Beta #1 14dpiui = 319
Beta #2 16dpiui = 849

#'s look good to me. They are a little high average for a singelton, so I would say maybe twins, but surely one.

Good luck!

Re: New here --> Beta #'s

Hi there! I am new to this board. My beta levels are similar to yours:
12dpo 265
14dpo 637

I go in tomorrow for another count. I was on my second round of Clomid, so multiples could be possible. Keep me posted as to your progress...I too am wondering if this will be twins. Although it looks as if singletons can be just a high. The waiting is so nerve-wracking!!! Take care!

Tracey

I go in for my 3rd beta on Feb 21st.
Then if that looks good, they're having me come back again a wk later on Feb 28th.
Next is beta and u/s on Mar 9th.

Are your beta #3 and #4 a wk apart like mine?

Nope, mine have been two days apart...so on Monday (at 4pm) it was 265, then I went at 8am on Wednesday and it was 637. I will go tomorrow morning, Friday at 8am. I'm anticipating that it will be well over 1200...at least that is what I'm hoping. I will keep you posted...please do the same. Take care!

Tracey

hi fetch

Your numbers are strong. When did you have the HCG shot, maybe that makes up some of you numbers. I'm not sure but it might.

It might also be an early implanter so they are producing more HCG than expected at the time.

Your doubling time is 37.9 hours and your daily rate is 1.55 so it all sounds on track.

Just my thoughts

Hi Donna! I didn't do an Hcg Shot....I was only on Clomid. I don't think that has any impact. I'm just hoping that its not a eptopic (sp) pregnancy. Rates tend to increase fast when this happens. I will keep you posted though! Thanks Donna!

HI Tracey

It was Fetch with the HCG shot I should have adressed my reply (oops)

Here's hoping that it all goes well for both of you.

FWIW my Betas were 10dp3dt----108
15dp3dt----1020

and are almost identical to my numbers when I had my DS and DD
11dp3dt----110
18dp3dt----1900

So I guess we are all playing the waiting game again LOL

Question 2ww

I am on the 2ww and since all you ladies need to be congratulated, I am curious if you knew you were pregnant before you went in for your Beta?

Signs if any?

Waiting....Patiently
