Rachel Level 1
Hi

I am feeling a bit better now. My beta today is 234. It has doubled.
My 7 week ultrasound is scheduled March 9. It seems so far away. I can't wait. I read somewhere that once they hear a heartbeat, the rate of miscarriage decreases a lot. My MIL wants to start knitting stuff and I told her to wait a few months.

I still think I am 4w3d. I am past the 4 week mark (1st day of supposed to be af) but not quite at the 5 week mark. I always thought you were about five to seven days ahead of me.

I have been reading a bit about embryo development. It is such a miracle what is happening inside of us. Like right now, my baby's spinal column, liver, and a primitive tubular heart are forming.

The cramps have lessened since last night. I still get the occasional one that lasts for a short time then goes away. My boobs are starting to hurt even more. They are already beggining to bust out of my bra and I am not even large busted.

I hope Marcia is doing okay. It would be so cool if all three of us had babies this upcoming October.

Rachel

Rachel,

you are right about the # of weeks! I was thinking that once I completed week #4 I consider myself in the next week. I had my 1st beta at the end of week #4. So I am completed 5 weeks and am 5 weeks and 2 days now so you are right. I am between week 5 and week 6.

I am so glad your #s doubled. They even did more than just double. That is very good. How are you feeling? I still have no MS but I am still feeling like I'm about to start AF (crampy). And it still makes me worry even though the nurse said not to worry about it. Do you still feel crampy? I am reassured that it is not just me...and I guess I am calmer after the 2nd beta.

I agree about having your MIL wait on the knitting. At least for another 5 weeks. After that we should be more secure. I am making my family wait on anything.

You are right about the bra issue. Mine are looking bigger as well. I really notice a difference in a tight fitting shirt. (And I'm usually a 32 or 34 A...so pretty FLAT) I am not buying any special clothes yet though...waiting to see a heartbeat at week #10 since I read that is a good milestone. I sure hope we both have good ultrasounds. Mine is next Thursday and DH is going with me. I am nervous and excited and scared and happy all at once when I think about it. Hope you are having a good weekend!!!!!
