Waiting for 3rd Beta - praying for a miracle!!!

Hi everyone.

REVISED 2/25 AT 9:00pm

For anyone who's been following my beta hell....... below are my latest hcg levels. The number went down but is now on the rise. The last 2 betas were UP. I'm hoping this is all due to a vanishing twin/triplet and that I will have a happy ending after all!! Just wanted to give you girls an update. Jen

I posted yesterday that after FET, my first beta on Thursday was 78 and then on Sat. it went down to 75. The clinic is not sure what to make of it. I went back this morning for beta #3. I'm praying for a miracle that my hcg level went up!!!

Has anyone ever seen this happen?? My clinic says it has.... it's hard to know what's going on since my hcg level went down so little, but certainly didn't double. I'm praying for a vanishing twin situation and that my numbers will be up today!!!

I'll let you know once I hear! If you ladies could put in some prayers for me, I'd be so thankful!!!!

Yes, it's a rough time for sure. It feels like I'm in a really bad dream! I wish I could just wake up from this!

Yes, I posted it on the FET board and also the Oct. due date board!

I'm thrilled with the jump, although I keep thinking of your previous situation and I know anything is still possible. I'm having beta #7 on Sun. along with an u/s. That will be all-telling I'm sure!!!

I'm praying for a healthy sac and yolk or whatever should be visible at that time!!!!

As for you, when are you starting the meds for your FET?

My name is Sherrie and I have read your story. I just want to let you know I am right there with ya in the dark. My first beta 7dpt was 24 then 9dpt 36. So I am not knowing much of what is going on. But I would like to know what you RE thinks the reasoning is for the up and down of your quant. And how far along are you?

Hi Sherrie,

I'm sorry you're going through this Beta Hell also! The fact that mine went down from 78 to 54 and as of yesterday was a 207 is sort of a mystery. My RE is staying cautiously optimistic. He thinks it's possible it could be a vanishing twin/triplet as I had 3 blast embryos transferred from FET.

I am finally having an u/s on Sunday, and I'm praying for a beautiful sac and anything else he should see at that point. Yesterday with my 207 beta (number finally more than doubled), I was at day 20 (15dp5dt). I am now 5w1d.

It's such a hard position to be in..... it's like being pregnant, but kind of not. I'm sure you can relate. I hate this limbo!!!!

What does your RE say??? I'm very curious to know!!!!

Please keep me posted! Wishing you doubling betas and a healthy pregnancy!!!

Well when they called me on Tuesday they said you quant is GREAT! 24. They said at 7dpt I should not even have a positive yet. My levels should be between 0-5 at that point. So I was very excited. Then yesterday on thursday they called and said it is only 36. They didnt give me alot of info. Just pretty much a 50/50 chance. But I am so nervous. I dont feel pregnant. But I dont know if I am supposed to. I am going for another beta tomorrow. And I am not sure how to feel. Do you have any advice or can you tell me if I am supposed to feel anything?

My hopes and prayers are with you Sherrie __________________ Natural Pregnancy at 16 DS now 8 Right ovary rem. at 18 cysts Natural preg. 2001 ectopic 16 weeks Natural Preg. 2004 ectopic 8 weeks Had Tubes Removed 2004 IVF#1 Dec 2004 OHSS Hospitalized after transfer BFN FET#1 FEB 2005 BFP m/c IVF#2 in September!!
