Hi Ladies

Hope you all had a nice weekend. We had a small scare this morning. I went to the bathroom and had a very tiny amount of brownish discharge (very, very small amount) but enought to bring back bad memories and scare. I called my doctor right away. My DH and Iwent to see her this morning. She drew blood to test my progesterone and it was above 60. So still looks good. She also did an u/s. First one with this pregnancy!!! We were so scared....well, everything looks great. No bleeding, nothing concerning or suspicious. In fact, all good news. She saw TWO fetal sacs which could result in twins YEAH! Everything looked normal. Our next u/s will be on Wednesday. I doubt we will see a hearbeat but maybe. If not then, probably the 6th week.

Heather, I like the name F.R.O.G. Babies. It certainly has a special meaning to all of us....we all have to rely on God...it's all in his hands.

We have some names in mind from previous pregnancies that we stilll really like. We'll see. Not seriously talking about anything though until we see a heartbeat. My DH is pretty suspicious.

Heather, call me silly but I am not sure what BD means (being new). I can take a guess by the what you are talking about. We haven't come across that isuse yet. But I can understand your concerns.....although I have heard it doesn't hurt anything.

Jen, thinking of you as you are going for bloodwork tomorrow. Let us know. Good luck.

Take care.
Sarah

I forgot to say that my doctor thinks the brownish "clots/discharge" is because my progesterone suppositories were hitting my uterus and causing a little bleeding. Has anyone heard of that? She is not worried at all though. As I said, everything looks great!
Take care.

Yes, I have heard of the suppositories doing that, and I have heard that A LOT! Except, I heard that it "irritates" the cervix and vaginal walls, "sometimes" causing spotting. I am so excited for you! Two sacs! So, we are maybe looking at twins (or more...hey stranger things have happened!).

So, Sarah, what were your BETA #? I am curious to do my obsessive comparison game.

As for the superstitious (sp?)thing...we "kinda" are too. I never much put much into it, until the last pregnancy. The day I found out I was PG, i went a bought this blanket I had my eye on. I LOVED it so much. I also bought a pregnancy journal...BAD IDEA!!! So, when I had my M/C, I had this baby stuff that made me bawl and so on. SO, I gave the blanket to my housekeeper (Who was pregnant and cried because her husband had wanted that blanket but couldn't afford it, so it made me feel good. Long story...the blanket had horses on it, and her hubby had to leave his horses in Brazil when they moved her. The blanket was priced at over $80, but I had a 50% of Coupon from that strore for my Birthday, so I got it cheaper. I never told her that.)

Oops, sorry. Anyhow...I have "window shopped" so far, and found things I REALLY REALLY want, but I have been a good girl!! Like, I am a Heffalump freak, and I found a blanket on Ebay I really want...but I keep thinking "What if I "jinx" myself". I know that that is silly, as this is all in God's hands. I took on the scriptures of Mark 11:24 and Matthew 21:22 to heart, summarized they say "Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you will recieve it and you will recieve it."

We have talked about baby names for years, so, being pg. does not change that. LOL.

So...I am heading over to the October thread to start a "FROG Babies" thread... Please come drop in!!!

Hugs, Heather

Heather

I am so glad you have heard of that because I just went to the bathroom and had more. I am freaking out!!!! Not be gross but I have to describe it to you to make you think it's normal. It's not "spotting or bleeding" it's like brownish clots/discharge. It's hard to describe. So you have heard that prog suppositories do this? I am so scared! Things looked great twelve hours ago. My DH reminded me that this happened this moring at 6 after I did my suppository at 5am and tonight at 6:30pm after I did my suppository at 5:30pm. It is also causing a slight cramping icky feeling in my stomach after I do the suppository and when it's happening. Is that normal too?

If you look at three replies ago from me it has all my beta #'s. My latest was 5487.4
Yes, could be twins. Only time will tell.

That story about the blanket is so sweet. I can't wait to buy pregnancy clothes and get that big stomach!!

Okay - I will defintinely be over to the FROG Babies thread. Can't wait!

I like that scriptures. It's so true too!

Take care.
