Does you alway have your temperatures drop around the time of your period?

This cycle, my temperature dropped - seemed to start AF, and then my temperature rose, no bleeding. Took an HPT because I am paranoid and it was BFN.

I have had a cycle or two that it doesnt drop until a few days into AF.. and I have seen it where it drops a few days before.

What cycle day are you or DPO??

12 dpo or cd2??? Not really sure. I had light bleeding starting late Monday (which is about the time that I get my period) and my temperature dropped that day but not below the coverline. I bled yesterday and my temp stayed low but not below coverline. Today my temperature dropped back up and no bleeding just spotting. But I also got the flu shot yesterday and my DH is sick... So I am wondering if my temp is up due to that.

I usually have 11 day LP.

An 11 day LP is not a great thing to have. If your temps are still up, that is a great thing! I would not give up just yet. Some people spot and still are preg. If implantation happens between 6-12 dpo... it could be too early to test, if you implanted late.

I spotted at 7 dpo and 8 dpo - which would have been great for implantation. Then started at 11 dpo (which is the normal end of my cycle). I don't think that I am pregnant - don't feel it. And I keep POAS and get negatives. So I am guessing it is just my period.

i always got a drastic dip (without fail) the day before AF arrived. the month i conceived i got the same dip, however the next day when AF should have arrived my temp jumped back up. i waited about 5 days to test. maybe you could retest in a couple of days,

as for the flu shot, i'm not totally sure about a temp spike due to that. did they give you any pamphlets or info regarding the shot?

also i agree with FM....have you spoken to your doc about your 11 day LP?

I have had my temp drop the morning of my af but than I have had it shoot up too.

Don't give much merit into one temp you need to look at the pattern.

the two months I did have success my I had an implantation dip around day 7 or 8 and than consistentley high temps.

Good luck, I'm in the 2ww wait tying au natural too.

July 15th IUI - BFN August cycle a bust - DH went out of town Sept 4th IUI - BFN October 2nd - IUI Going to try two cycles on our own before taking the plunge to IVF
