Not sure when I ovulated
Hello
. I'm on CD20, and have been tracking my BBT, CM, & using OPK sticks to figure out my ovulation date for the first time. However, using the three has confused me a little. My BBT began at 97.6 on CD1 and then started to decline with two dips on CD8 (97.0) and CD13 (97.1). I suspected that CD13 might be when I OV because I also had some eggwhite CM since CD12. However, all my OPKs were BFNs including that day (I was testing at 12noon & 10pm everyday since AF was over). At that time I felt frustrated and wondered if the OPKs were faulty. I was using the cheaper Target store brand OPKs. On CD14, I bought a box of a name brand OPKs and got a BFP at noon that day. I made sure that I had BMS with my DH that night. But by that afternoon, my CM was totally dry. As if I had already ovulated . Also, my BBT on CD14 was up to 97.6 and then 97.8 on CD15.I have been confused since then. Shouldn't the OPK give more than several hours notice? Could the Target tests been faulty? Has anyone experienced a faulty OPK? And did I OV on CD13 or CD14? Either way, I currently in 2WW hoping that I have a BFP on a HPT after another week.

Hi there: Did you use an OPK on cd 13? I couldn't tell whether you stopped with the other brand on cd 12 and then picked up with Target on cd 14.
Also, can you list your temps for cds 8-14? I'll check back .Best of luck+++++++++++++ Maura p.s. Have your temps since cd 15 all been in the same higher range? |

I used the Target store brand OPK from CD7 to CD13. I used First Response brand OPK on CD14 at 12noon, and that one gave me a definite positive.
All of my temps from CD15 to CD20 have been from 97.8 to 97.9. |

Hi there: I agree with FF. Looks like O was on cd 14, which is consistent with your cm as well. It might well be that those Target OPKs were faulty because you should have seen your surge on cd 13. That said, some women do seem to ovulate the first day they see a ++ (it's happened to me in the past), which is why it's a good idea to BMS the same day you see a ++OPK
.Looks like your BMS was timed really well, which is wonderful .Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++ Maura |
