Twins or single with early HPT?
I had a FET cycle and transferred 3 blastocysts. I tested positive at 5.5dp5dt. My Dr. office wont let me do beta early and wants me to come in at 14dpt for my 1st beta. From what I have heard most people with twins or multiple pregnancies test positive early on HPT. Has anyone had a singleton and had an early positive?

Hi there: CONGRATULATIONS on your +++!
Yes, I tested ++ at 10 dpo with a singleton! I think it's just a matter of whether implantation was on the early side or not. Come back and tell us whether you are having one or more .Best wishes for a happy and healthy pg! +++++++++++ Maura |

congratulations!!
i guess in theory it makes sense. multi pgs usually yeild a higher hcg level than singletons so i can understand how it might make a pos show up earlier. for all practical purposes you still won't get a definitive answer from a beta either. you'll only know for sure when you do an u/s. in any case....you're pg and that's wonderful!!!! let us know when you find out how many!!! best wishes....
