Denver Doc Rec Needed for Surgery

Hi, I'm brand new to the forums on Fertile thoughts and am looking for information.

I have massive fibroids and have been to three different doctors to have assessments done with regard to next steps. My long-time gynecologist retired and I've been referred to Dr. Donna Okuda and for the Infertility aspects and to assist Dr. Okuda a Dr. Debra Minjarez with a proposed Myomectomy. Has anyone had surgical experience with either of these two doctors? It is very hard to know if I am going to the right doctors for my Myomectomy and I don't want to make the wrong choice. I need to get past the myomectomy before I can move forward with my other issues.

hi there welcome to FT!!!

i'm sorry i have no personal knowledge of either of those doctors but if you toggle around the site and post on several boards you might get some feedback. i've often seen similar requests for feedback and/or recommendations on the pg boards. you might try there first.

also if you look around the IF boards i *think* there's a board on fibroids too!
