Estrace Delayed AF?

I did a "mock cycle" this month (in prep for IVF) and took 2mg of Estrace/day for 8 days.
I am now a week late for my period with a high BBT. I haven't done a test yet, because I just don't feel pregnant and I'm past 40. Can taking Estrace Delay AF? I know it's a hormone replacement but my lining more than doubled and you would think my body would be ready for AF by now

oh ok, that's makes more sense. so do you know when you O'd?

generally if you take progest (after O) this can delay AF, but unless the estrace caused a delay in O, then i would expect AF to be on time.

AF showed

Yes, I did get AF after all, thanks for asking. It really threw it off and got me hoping there was a pregnancy. Oh well, at least the mock cycle worked.
