opinions on ovu date

Hello! I am new to this forum, ttc, charting- the whole shabang! This is our third month "really" ttc, & second month charting (bbt, opk, cm). Would love help interpreting my current chart....

My temp dipped on cd29 & had all physical indicators of ovulating (although my last + opk was 3 days prior) and it then SLOWLY started to rise- no sharp temp increase. My temp is now 98.6 - so i'm pretty sure I ovulated but I'm unsure of WHEN!!!

I got sick on around cd's 35-37 & didn't chart temps.

Can anyone take a look at my chart and give opinions as to when I may have ovulated?? Is this an example of slow-rise, staircase, or ???.

Thank you in advance for any help!!!!!

Hi there and welcome!

It's hard to say for sure because of the missing temps on cds 32 (33?) and 36-37, but one possibility I see is cd 31... another one is cd 35 ... but really I think this month it's going to be impossible to say because of the missing temps. I don't see O on cd 29 because your temps on cds 30-31 are not higher than your previous 6 temps leading up to cd 29.

What was your coverline last month? That might help us too since many women tend to have the same rough coverline from month to month.

I'll check back+++++++++

Thank you so much for the reply!! It's really so nice to get the help/advice from fellow & veteran ttc-ers! : )
Yea- I know what you mean... seems like it's gonna be a 'wait & see' month. I'm kicking myself for not taking my temps those days!!! arrgghh.
My coverline last month was 98 ... the weird & confusing thing is that the last day of fertile cm was cd29 maybe cd30. I guess one good thing is that I did indeed ovulate this month- just not sure of when!
Today is cd40 & counting & it's been so hard not to poas! Just don't want to waste the $ esp. since I don't know how many dpo I am.
Thanks again!!!
