AF finally showed.....
Hi all,
Well, can you believe it? After everything, AF finally showed her ugly face Anyway, now we have a hurricane to deal with, so it looks like we will be leaving early Sunday morning for a few days away from here. Things will probably be okay in our area, (about halfway between New Orleans and Houston) but you just never can tell, and we don't take chances,......so, it looks like it's time for a "road trip"!!! I'll post when we return home, next week sometime. Thanks to all of you for your positive support and posts for me. It always helps me so much!! Hugs to all, LAMom

I'm so sorry. Being late for AF really stinks..especially when all the signs are there. So frustrating. (((HUGS)))
Stay safe during the hurricane.

ugh...i'm so sorry LAM. mother nature can be so cruel sometimes.
keep in mind that after O progesterone is produced and if your body has been producing progesterone in excess (due to the LP of your cycle being so long, that could account for the nausea. anyway...glad your cycle has at least declared itself even tho it wasn't the outcome you were hoping for. hoping you and your family stay safe!

LAMom - I am so sorry that she came. I was still hoping against hope, ya know? At this point, though, I am glad you have resolution so you can deal with the other situation at hand. I hope you make it home soon and that your family and home are safe.
Love, Beth

I'm back home again...
Hi everyone:
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts. I guess that dealing with a hurricane is ONE way to get your mind re-directed, huh? Anyway, we got home last night and all is well in our area. We just had a few small branches strewn about the yard, but the power is on and most of our city is unaffected. It could've been much worse, though, as the eye of the storm passed right over the area! I am feeling much better about things (again, some perspective adjusting has occurred through it all!) and am also glad that I at least have RESOLUTION to my situation. That is so much better than being in "limbo land" for what seems like an eternity. I'm going to talk to my doc when I go in for my appt at the end of this month, though. Because, when I have been checking my cervix lately, it feels like there are a couple of small bumps near the opening, and I've never noticed that before. I wonder if that could have something to do with the brown spotting (polyp?), or if it could be something else to worry about??? Anyway......it seems as if there is ALWAYS something going on, kwim? Maybe this just happens sometimes??? or maybe it's "just" a polyp, type of thing? It's good that I'm going in to see him for the regular check up this month, anyway. If anyone has any input on this one, though, I'd be glad to hear it! Thanks again for all of your prayers and good wishes........ Love, LAMom |

don't freak out too much about the bumps yet.....I had a similar situation and was pretty worried as it had even grown large and painful.
As my Ob explained it...the cells of our cervix go inwards towards the cervical opening and along with those cells are also mucus secreting glands that can have their opening covered by the formation of new cervical cells. The result is a bump that usually resolves on its own but it may need to be "popped" if it continues to stay clogged. She had a specific name for it and I can't remember it or find a reference online for it but it is not a dangerous situation, simply a clogged mucus secreting gland. Hope this turns out to be the case for you as well. Sorry that AF showed as well. Best wishes and babydust sent your way.
