Hello all,
Just wondering what you all may think of this situation. I have PCOS and have not had a cycle since May. Thought I o'ed around July 28-30. Took a test (Target Brand) and very faint positive after about 10 minutes last night. Took another test this morning (CVS brand) and no line. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Target tests. Having a few pg symptoms but could also be PMS....who knows :0) Thanks for your help! hi tracey...
i'm sorry i have no personal experience with target brand hpts but i would probably suggest maybe trying another brand. my personal favorites were always clear blue and ept. i found them to be most reliable. if you did in fact O around 7/30 then that would make you about 20 dpo and i would think a hpt should be reliable. it's much easier to get a false neg than the other way around so that would definitely prompt me to take another. it's usually best to use FMU as it's usually the most reliable, so try and take it in the morning. pms signs and early pg signs are almost impossible to tell apart too. but that one test with the faint line would have my mind going so i'd have to test again. if you can manage to wait 2 more days it might give you more of a chance of accuracy. hcg tends to double around 48-72 hours so if it's present they're might be more in a couple of days and easier to pick up. best of luck!! let us know how it goes.

I have PCOS and have had faint positives too. The worst test I have used was the Walmart brand. I don't know what to tell u really. I have even had the problem of REALLY Bright Postive test at home and by the time my appt with OB rolls around it is negative. Good luck to u. I would just call OB for test. HUGS

I too have pcos and I've had false pos. that looked very light. Frustrating! The Answer brand test do this to me about 50% of the time that I take them. I've quite buying them for that reason. So, if I poas..it's something like First Response.
If you don't want to spend more money of tests...I'd ask your ob for a blood test.
