Just Waiting to O

I'm on cycle day 16 and still no + on the opk's. I really hate waiting!
Last month I ovulated on cd22. Does that mean that I will likely ovulate late this month too? How much variation do you all get in the day you ovualte?

Hi there: SO much waiting in IF, isn't there? Anyway, the fact that you ovulated on cd 22 last month by itself does not mean you will ovulate around that time again this month, although if you tend to generally O that late, chances are that you will again.

Some women ovulate like clockwork on the same cycle day each month. Some women have a roving O date (me, at least when I used to check these things). I would ovulate anywhere from cd 12 to cd 20 or later! My longer cycles were not as common as my shorter ones, but they still happened often enough that I had to be on my toes.

Have you been tracking your O over a period of months? If so, you might be able to make some predictions, but as I said, nothing is fail safe.
