A beautiful chart...no pg

The two week wait is KILLING ME! I thought this month was going sooo well. I thought it would happen this month. I wanted it to happen this month. My temperatures slowly went up and peaked at 98.7 and slowly came back down. It looks like those charts that tell you when the hormones peak. And I know it's still above the coverline, but...does anybody out there think I still have a shot?

A possible wrench in the whole situation, I found out yesterday that I have a staph infection...in my VAGINA!! What the heck?!?!

o.k.....enough....thanks for listening.

Hi there: YES, you still very much have a shot! With every day that passes without AF, you have a shot, particularly with temps that are still above your coverline (and nicely above it, I might add!). Have you taken a test yet?

I will look into the staph infection issue -- what are your symtoms? Make sure whoever is treating you knows where you are in your cycle and how there's a chance you might be pg!

I'll be back+++++++++++

I don't know what kind of strain it is, but I do know that it a slow growing one? A mild case? (I honestly can't remember exactly the words she used) The reason I had a culture done, was because I've been having painful sex ever since my surgery last year (appendectomy). She thought things were a little more pink than they should've been...like there was some inflammation....right now I'm waiting for some of the other test results. (my pap was normal) I am also aware that if my body is fighting an infection (even if it's a low-grade one), that my body may not have the energy resources to support a new life.

You know, my journey towards pregnancy has been so much more than that. And no matter what happens...I'll be thankful for what I've learned. It's just hard sometimes!!

(PG - Mentioned)

Maura~~

They called yesterday with the results and they wanted to see me right away. I have an appointment this afternoon...after my acupuncture (It's like Monday all over again!).

The other part...my temps went back up again, so I took a HPT this morning (I did notice some spotting a bit...all light brown)...it was positive! Well, I have lots of questions to ask them today.....will keep you updated.
