Question spotting only at night?

Hello,

I'm being ridiculosly obsessive about this cause I'm having my first HCG test tomorrow to see if this cycle worked.

But I've had some spotting since Sunday evening and some cramping that has stopped. I'm taking oral progesterone 3x daily. RE nurse said yesterday it's normal.

But I only have the spotting in the evening. Is that weird? I'd call my office, but they are closed.

Any insight would be helpful.

TIA

is this your first cycle taking progest? if not, how has it affected your cycle in the past? does it usually delay AF?

when is/was AF due?

i agree with lynn that it could be implanation spotting. keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!!

Thank you both for your feedback! This is my 2nd cycle with progesterone. Last cycle I had my IUI later in the cycle and the spotting started about 3 days before AF was due. It was also much darker last month and felt more like AF then just spotting.

This time I O'd 5 days earlier. I didn't have the IUI cause of a conflict and just did it the old fashioned way, starting the progestone on CD 13th, july 9th, but the cramping was on and off from CD19-23.. The spotting just started on CD24 (Sunday 20th) I just thought it odd that it was only happening in the evening.

My cycles are usually 30-31 days. So I should be due for AF around July 27th or 28th.

Hopefully I get my HCG results soon. This waiting is so hard.
