Hi...checking in...waiting

Hi everyone,

Just checking in and saying hello. We are on vacation in Canada and don't have much internet access (staying with family in a vacation cottage without internet). So - I just put in my last couple temps. Today is 12 dpo. I am still above the cover line, but I think that I usually start to take a dip around 12-13 dpo, so I am holding my breath. I think I have been having some pre-AF cramping the past day or two - just subtle, but enough to dash my hopes. Has anyone experienced that and still been pregnant?

Anyway, hope all is well with everyone!

Hi JG! Beautiful chart! I see no reason to be anything but hopeful. I had cramping when I was pg with ds (remember -- AF and pg symptoms can be the same, so the mere presence of cramping is not dispositive!).

Good luck and let us know how the next few days go!

yep, 3x. please believe me when i tell you the cramps in early pg are AF cramps. there is no distinguishing them from the "real" thing. they were always the same exact cramps and intensity i got with AF, sans bleeding. i'm sure many women would agree too.

so don't assume just becuase you feel cramping that it's over. it's not over unless you start bleeding.

good luck!!!

Thank you both so much for your responses. No spotting, or sign of AF yet. Still keeping my fingers crossed. Today is 14dpo, temps are still above cover line (chart below), and we are on the last leg of our trip home. I figure if I get no spotting tomorrow, I will test Sunday morning. Sound reasonable? The trip, being out of loop, etc. has kept me from testing so far (probably a good thing!). There has been virtually no privacy from extended family until we left today. We are staying over night in Niagara Falls and then home tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Results

Hi - The curiosity got the better of me. I tested when we got home tonight, knowing that it wasn't FMU, but figuring I would give it a shot.... it was a BFP!!!!

Oddly, I didn't even allow myself a day of happiness before I started getting waves of anxiety about the whole thing - going from 2 to 3 kids, the age difference, my age, etc. (I am 36, with 6 year old twins). I am still in the throws of a major freak-out. :-)

Thanks for your support.
