Is this possible?
Hi everyone - I am not sure about whether or not I could have O'd yesterday.
(My chart is below.) I had watery/EWCM yesterday and a positive OPK, then got a temp rise today. I sometimes miss my surge on OPKs so I do them frequently when I think I am getting close. So my OPKs were: 6/25 neg all day 6/26 10 am neg, afternoon neg but getting closer color-wise 6/27 11 am POSITIVE dark line, 4pm getting lighter, 7 pm even lighter Yesterday evening, I also had what I describe as ovulation pain - sort of that really full, heavy feeling in the abdomen. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/19a3d6 So, I figured I would probably O sometime today (6/28), but when I woke up with a temp increase, I am wondering if it is possible that I o'd yesterday. It seems like it would be really fast for me to get a positive OPK, the heaviness, ovulate, AND get a temp rise all within the same day - or even 12 hours or so. I guess it's possible that the OPK was positive earlier than 10 am, maybe even over night between the 25 and 26th? Am I totally over thinking this? My worry is that perhaps I was just hot from the temp, and that I now might have confusing, inconsistent temps. That happened one night earlier in the week, and I just took it off of my chart, because it was way out of wack from lack of sleep. Thanks for entertaining my neurosis...

JG....
i don't think you O'd between the 25th and 26th. i think if anything, you O'd between the 26th and 27th. or even over night between the 27th and 28th. keep in mind that you got an *almost* pos on the evening of the 26th. so for all practical purposes, your surge could've started an hour later. we typically O anywhere from 12-36 hours after the surge. so really, it makes sense. even if your 11am test on the 27th was the first of the surge, you still could've o'd within the normal time frame and seen your rise this morning. the important thing is that you covered your bases and that you keep BMS'ing until you're certain that you've O'd. obviously the next couple of days temps will verify that. wishing you the best!!!!!

Hi there: I agree with Dina's comments
. I think it's quite possible that you did ovulate yesterday (I have done that myself -- ovulating the same day as my+++ OPK). I would keep BMSing until it's clear that your temp stays up though! You are missing a temp on cd 13, so it's hard to say for sure, but I would like to see temps above 97.3 or so from here on out .Best of luck and keep us posted++++++++++ Maura |

Thanks to you both. This morning my temp was 97.4, which is not as high as I would like to see post-O; however, I sometimes take a while to warm up.
I put my temp in FF this morning, and it gave me the dotted crosslines, with O on the 26th - prior to my + OPK. LOL. Given the fact that I was OPKing so frequently, I am positive that is not the case. I don't know how to fix it on FF, so if you look at the chart again, ignore the dotted lines. Thanks for your input. I am feeling pretty good about O on 6/27, which was CD 15, given that I now have no CM and also no more heaviness/O pain. We are going on vacation soon, leaving next Friday for a week, so that should keep my mind busy in the 2ww!

sometimes FF does things that make absolutely no sense to me. looking at your chart again, i can't even see why the program would conclude cd 14 as your O day. you still had ewcm, it was BEFORE you input a pos OPK, and the temp rise is not significant enough to substantiate O. it doesn't make sense....
i would go with what we discussed and as maura said throw in another BMS if there's any doubt. good luck!!
