HPT question...

I am 12dpiui today. I got my first BFP on FRER at 10dpiui. It was faint but there. The next day it was darker and the next evening it came up right away.

Because I didn't want to keep spending $20 a pop for FRER someone suggested I get dollar tree brand . So I did and I have done 3 today and they are positive but much more faint than the FRER. Does anyone know if these are not as reliable. I would assume they aren't because of the cost but then again who knows. Does anyone know anything about this? Should I be worried.?

My beta is Sunday which is 14dpiui so I know I tested early but I was thrilled when I got the + result. I did do an HCG booster to ovulate but I tested at 7dpiui and got a negative so I know it was out of my system.

Anyway I am just driving myself crazy so I was hoping maybe someone here knew.

TIA

Sam

Hi Sam! I don't know the answer to your question, but here is a website that lists HPTs by their sensitivity level:http://www.peeonastick.com/hpts.html .

I didn't see Dollar Tree on there, but I will keep looking!

Congratulations on your continuing ++s!

From what I've read, the FRER is much more sensitive than the dollar tree brand ~ which may explain why the dollar tree ones are showing up lighter. Try not to worry about it ~ Sunday is just around the corner! :~)

Here is another site:

Looks like Dollar Tree may also be called New Choice and if so, seems to be less sensitive than FRER!

Fingers crossed for your beta!

++++++++++++++Good luck and keep us posted
Maura
p.s. I just noticed New Choice/Dollar Tree is on the peeonastick website too!

Thanks very much ...I did see this chart before on peeonastick.com and it made me more nervous. It has about the same result as FRER...I am going to go get another FRER just to keep my mind as stress free as possible...it's worth the money...why do we do this to ourselves....

Thanks again and I wil let you know ho wmy beta is ...
