Confused AGAIN!!!

Ok ladies...
another cycle and MORE questions!

First: When do you start BBT, if you never have done it?

Second: Last month I think I goofed. I opk'd 2x day. I got a + in the a.m.(with a line test) and - (from a digital) in the p.m. I had already scheduled the dsiui from the result in the am. The day of the iui the digital test was + BUT (because I was freaked out...) I tested with the line test again and it was -. SOOOO...which is right??? and which ONE should I rely on this cycle? I got a BFN last time and I think it was because I screwed it up. Please help???

you can start your BBT'ing on cd 1 (day of AF) or at the end of AF as long as it isn't too long.

i used to stop temping upon the arrival of AF and start back up again around cd 7 or 8. some women temp right through so they don't lose their momentum. the important thing is to have at least 5/6 temps before O so you have enough temps to substantiate your rise and draw your coverline.

as for the OPK's. i would probably base things on your pos test (digital) in which case you timed your IUI perfectly. it's more likely that when you got the pos on the digi test that was the second day of your surge. the one the night before which was neg could've been false due to watered down urine.

all in all i think it's more probable that you'd get a false neg than a false pos. so i think your timing was good.
