LH surge-when to BD???

I need some fast advice! I have been doing OPKs for the past 4 days all negative on first morning urine. I have always done first morning and until now have always gotten a positive at mid cycle. Well today my temp spiked .5 degrees with a neg OPK. I also had a temp dip yesterday. I went to see my doc and the follicle had not released (thankfully) she checked my LH by blood draw and it was 46 , she said that pre-O it should be less than 12. SOOOOO, I am ready to pop! My question is, when is best to BD? Doc says tomorrow am and pm. My only worry is that we haven't BD'd since Tuesday (3 days). What if I miss it??? Plus I do not have any fertile CM this month. Should I BD tonight or listen to my doc?? This is my last cycle before we call it quits so I'm freaking out! thanks in advance! Sara

Hi Sara: I would definitely BMS tonight and then tomorrow, waiting 24 hours in between if you can (to allow sperm to rejuvenate). I would then keep BMSing until your temp rises and stays up and you are SURE you have ovulated!

Are you going to keep OPKing? If so, then BMS the day you get your ++OPK and for the next two days as well.

Hope that's not too confusing!

GOOD LUCK and keep us posted+++++++++
Maura

Thanks! I am not going to OPK, forgot to mention my doc had me trigger today also to cover the bases, that' s probably why she said NOT to BD tonight, since it should take 24-36 hours to work. I'm so paranoid I will miss my window. My DH of course wants to listen to my doc and wait until tomorrow am. UGH! Sara

I don't think it can hurt to BD tonight instead of tomorrow morning, just in case your follie already released before the trigger. Then again tomorrow night. If DH is really superman, you could do all 3!!
