How soon did you get a +hpt?

Hi ladies,
I am in the middle of the 2ww and 8dpo. I'm having a hard time waiting to test. I got a BFN today and know it's very early yet. Just wondering how soon it took other people to get a +hpt.

Hi stef: 8 dpo is really, really early since implantation can still take place for another 4 days

! The soonest I ever got a ++ on an HPT was at 10 dpo, but it was the faintest line imaginable! I would wait as long as you can and then try again, knowing that every day that passes increases the chances of an accurate result (and that some pg women still see false negatives at 15 dpo and even later!).

Thanks for the reassurance I knew I tested too early but it's so hard to wait! I don't have any symptoms at all. The last time I was pregant I already had sore bbs so I keep pressing my bbs. I'll probably end up making them sore myself!

I am so thankful to have found this site! I am torturing myself this week!!! I had IUI June 7 & 8, progesterone test with "excellent" numbers, and took an HPT this evening and got a BFN. I am telling myself it's too early and I will test again in another week!

You need to test first thing in the morning with first morning urine! It has the most hormones in it. I would test 10-12 days past O.
