whats the latest you ever had ovidrel in your system?

it seems to stay with me FOREVER. still light line today 7dp shot with SECOND am pee.

any experts on ovidrel and hpts out there? i'm using $ tree tests ( i have to b/c i use 10 per cycle

Usually it is about 12 days....

Here is a blurb from fertilityplus:

"Q: Can I use an HPT if I had an hCG injection (such as Profasi, Pregnyl or Novarel)?

A: You can, but you should wait 7-14 days after your last injection before the shot is out of your system. If you test too soon, you might get a false positive. Wait 14 days after a 10,000 IU injection, 10 days after a 5,000 IU injection, or 7 days after a 2,500 IU injection."

It doesn't mention Ovidrel specifically, but I imagine it would be about the same.

thank you girls, so frustrating b/c who knows what ovidrel compares to as far as ius like hcg. i will say on a previous pg i had a BFP hpt 10p iui/hcg shot ( i do an ovidrel booster the day of iui) and it was a true bfp and VERRRRYY light, and it was twins. but i did not test prior to 10dp. and while the literature says 7-14 days, almost no one seems to get a false + past 9 or 10 days past.

i welcome any more experiences and i'll post my results!

just an update, 8dp ovidrel today and there really is almost nothing but the vaguest shadow of a line. i expect it to be gone by tomorrow, and i am a slow metabolizer.

ovidril lasted 7 days for me and was negitive i took an HPT daily to see and now I have done a HPT and it was very positive so it can play with you chances are it is a real positive this is t second time I have been able to test this theory of mine after 8 days if you get a positive it should be a good one. It should get lighter and lighter daily and go to nothing then pick up if its good.

I had Ovidrel on June 6th, IUI June 7&8 and have been on 2ww since. I took an HPT tonight and it was negative. I can't let myself believe it for some reason because I have been so sick. Should I let go and anticipate AF? I hate this journey.

my RE told me to wait 2 weeks so I do not get a false positive. That is what I am doing. I'd rather wait.

bumping this up.. i am 8dpo on my 2nd ( this year

, not overall) and 10dp 2 ovidrels ( i dont know why but they had me take 2) and this a.m my 1st hpt this cycle is still a fairly visible positve. this cant be a reall bfp b/c it is only 8 days past my iui/ovulation. i'm surprised to still have a visible line like this at 10dp, but its there.. more tomorrow..
