Is it necessary to have 3 days of rising temps during/after ovulation to have any chance of getting pg?
I noticed from several of my past charts that the charts that only had 2 days of rising temps before it dipped ended in BFN's. On the other hand, the two BFP's that I've had, had 3 or more days of rising temps before it dipped. Is there any truth to reading it this way, or do I have a chance this month still? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/5eb89

alright fetch...if that's true, it's new to me.
i've honestly never heard of that. i think that success charts will have all sorts of rise patterns. the key is for temps to stay above the CL. and even with that, there have been many success charts with CL dips. some even below CL. i believe maura had a few CL dips with her last pg. so it does and can happen. i will go look at some success charts in the gallery tho...just to see if there is in fact some sort of pattern.

Thank you so much for the reply and words of encouragement.
This cycle/luteal phase is confusing me. I'm on 600mg of progesterone suppositories daily and my temp isn't as high as it's been in the past... when in the past I was either on less prog, or none at all. Also, I had side affects and misleading pg symptoms from the progesterone on my last two cycles, but this month, nada. In a way I'm glad there aren't any misleading symptoms. Thoughts? My chart is wacky and depressing me the more I look at it. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/5eb89 |

your chart still looks good to me.
and i understand everything you're saying. i was on progest also and i for the post did not experience any of the things most women experience. i was dx with a real progest deficiency, so i thought finally taking the progest when my body was so used to lacking it, i would surely feel the difference. or at least see it in my temps. nope.....nada. the month i conceived, after my AF was late my temps did in fact go triphasic, hitting an unusual high for me. however i was already on the progest for 2 weeks, and saw no difference during that time in my usual temps during my LP. so i guess what i'm trying to say is, don't read into it too much. sometimes the things we most expect to happen....don't. wish you the best. keep us posted!
