When does triphasic pattern start?

If you get a tri-phasic pattern when pregnant, when do you normally see that second temp rise? Is it right around implantation? Right about when you would normally see AF? I know I had one with my first pregnancy, and my recollection is that it started right about the time I expected to see AF, but I just can't remember.

hi cassie...

with my traphasic chart i got my huge plummit the day before AF was due (as i always do) and the next morning when i should've gotten AF it shot way back up to a new high. that's where my 3rd level started. so for me it was when AF was due.

I temped 2 days before AF was due and noticed an increase. I was usually on the way down at that point.
