Follie Scan Results

Well I wish I could come on here and say I have wonderful news and I am gonna O soon but that isnt the case. I went to my follie scan early this morning and the u/s tech said there were many follies but nothing dominant. It also hurt a bit when she was moving the wand around ...I met with my dr to go over the next plan and he mentioned me seeing an RE as an option and I told him my insurance just doesnt cover that and he said yeah its very expensive. So I asked him to explain the u/s to me and he said I have follies but nothing that looks very good. He was just as shocked and bummed as me. He also said he wants to run some more blood tests on me next month if i dont get pg this cycle which he says doesnt look very promising.....WHY ME????!! What is wrong with my body?? I cant figure out how i got pg on 100mg yet i cant even O on 200mg. This is ridiculous!!!! So he says he wants to see me back cd16 which is Friday for a repeat follie scan. I didnt even ask about the progesterone he prescribed to me so i guess i wont take it unless they call and tell me too. I just pray that I have better follies on Friday. Do you think 3 days will make a difference?? If I took it days 5-9 wouldnt I O later??? On my previous charts its looked like anywhere from cd16-18. Anyways any encouragement or advice would be helpful! Thanks for reading this long post!

Hi there: I'm so sorry that your u/s wasn't more promising. Do you know what size the follicles that you have are? Many women O around cd 20 or even later on Clomid, so the fact that you don't have anything ready to go now at cd 13 (is that what you are today?) may not be a problem. Your doctor's decision to see you again on Friday for another u/s suggests that he hasn't given up either.

Fingers crossed that there's some progress by Friday!

Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++++
