doc appt update!!!

Hey girls I am so excited!!!! My dr appt went SO well! I talked to him and got all the things i wanted!!! I showed him my charts from the last three months, and especially focused on this last cycle with Femara and i told him how i thought I had Oed way early and he agreed I could have. You see if I had Oed around cd14 then by cd24 my prog would have been low. Especially since that was 4 days before I got af. He was going to start me on Femara again but then realized I was already on day 5 of my cycle and he said they like to start that earlier in the cycle and he said I dont want to waste a cycle giving it to you later then we usually do. SOOOOOO....the new plan is 200mg Clomid...ya ya I know its a high dose but hey I am willing to deal with the side effects. So its 200mg Clomid, the 1000 Metformin I am currently still taking and I come back for a follie u/s on Oct 16th which i guess would be cd13. I am not sure why they are doing it that early but he said he wants to see whats going on. If I am about to ovulate then he will give me progesterone. I told him all about how i had that the first trimester last time, and of course my progesterone is low the last three months so it only makes sense. I told him how its obvious i can get pg since I did before, and he agreed he knew i could and he was gonna get to the bottom of this and get me pg!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!! Now i just need prayer that the Clomid works this time! I am cause I feel i have a decent chance this time, and he is trying new stuff which makes me feel better! I now gotta go check out Walmart for the Clomid on there $4 program cause i am not spending $90 on Clomid if i dont have too!!!!!! PLEASE PRAY LADIES THIS IS MY LAST MONTH TTC!!!!

I've also heard scripts are cheaper at Sam's or Costco.

Good luck girlfriend!

What did it cost? I'm guessing it isn't part of their $4 drug plan, but I'd be interested in knowing how the price compares to what I pay here.

BTW -- $90 sounds REALLY expensive!!! I think my last round on clomid was about $35 (though was actually the generic clomiphene and not the brand name, and I think it was about 1/2 the price of the Clomid brand!!!)
