Yes, it happens. There are some women who never get a +hpt, for whatever reason, so the only way their pg. is confirmed is through a beta. Also, I've read about many women who don't get a +hpt until 14-16 dpo.

Good luck and don't give up hope!

i agree as well. i couldn't turn a HPT pos until i was about 5-6 days late for AF. and all my dates were accurate. it just kept coming up neg.

my sis could never turn a hpt pos and she's had 4 healthy pgs. with her last one she was convinced it was perimenopausal changes. she took 6 hpt's over the course of 5-6 weeks. one she took here at my house. i wouldn't have believed it if i didn't see it myself. blatantly neg!

where there's no AF there's always hope!! hang in there and good luck!

Hi there! I agree with the others and I wanted to add that the stage you're at is, I think, the equivalent of 12 dpo, right? And that is still so early! You could still be implanting.

Hold off another couple of days if you can and then try again. Hope the next HPT you see is a ++!

Good luck and keep us posted+++++++++++++

Hi mymy30! Not necessarily -- like jassystar, you'd only be about 12 dpo (if my math and assumptions are right). This could easily be too early to register a ++ on an HPT since implantation can take place up to 12 dpo! If you can, wait for your beta on Wednesday since that's going to be the best indicator at this point. And if you do test again with an HPT, just remember that it could be too early!

Best of luck and keep us posted++++++++++++

Hi again: Sorry about your OHSS! Painful stuff, I understand! As is the waiting (that I DO know about). Fingers tightly crossed for you! Let us know how it goes on Wednesday!

GOOD LUCK+++++++++++++++++
