Finally...

Well, the never-ending-cycle is finally over. AF came today. I think it was CD 60!!! Holy Toledo, am I glad to see this one be finished. OB had given me Ayestin and it worked.

Now I just have to pray that last cycle's anovulatory status was just a fluke... Keep your fingers crossed for ovulation in a couple weeks for me!!

hi ya!

Beth,

I'm glad that the Ayestin worked for you. I know you must've been SO ready to start a new cycle......never been so glad to see ole AF huh??? Did you have any unusual or uncomfortable side effects with the medicine? I'm just always curious when it comes to new names of meds......in case it comes up in my own future. I hadn't heard of that one before......?

Best of luck to you!!

Hugs,
LAMom

LAMom - No side effects at all that I noticed. I started taking it. Within a day or two, my temp spiked up to what would be normal post-o temps for me. I took the medicine twice a day for 7 days. A couple days after I stopped taking it, my temp dropped and the next day I got AF. So far, it has been a pretty normal AF (not lighter or heavier than usual).

I really hope it normalizes me for this cycle. However, I will be out of town and away from DH from 10/19-10/23, so I am going to hope for an early-ish O. I have o'd anywhere from day 13 to day 18 or 19. The early side would be ok, the late end of that...not so good. One step at a time, though!
