When will temp spike after HCG trigger?

I had my first IUI this morning. I took the HCG trigger last night. I am wondering when my temp spike should be? Tommorrow? Thursday? I am so anxious about the IUI and getting the timing right - if my temp. dosn't spike tommorrow I am worried we did it to early.

Mel-normally ovulation can occurs 24-36 or 36-48 hrs after ovulation. (Depending on what medical professional/article you refer to). with that being said, you're spike could come anytime during that time. If you didn't have one this am, I would think you would see it tomorrow morning.

So how was it? With the RE I mean. I've done IUIs before, but if I make it to my consultation in a few weeks, I will be doing an IUI after that. I'll be seeing Dr. Lyles.

Thanks. I just worry about the timing of course.

Tweetyb - it was fine. This was my first, but it seemed to go well, wasn't painful at all. The nurse (I don't know if she is a nurse or nurse practitioner) did it. Actually she is the only one I have seen or talked to since my initial consult. Seems very competent though. When is your appointment? Hopefully you won't need it!

I agree with farmerswife... The hcg trigger can make bbt unreliable...
