my temp went down too today. i am 7dpo....were are you in your cycle? i am praying mine goes back up tomorrow. hopefully yours too

Often times, a secondary estrogen surge occurs during the luteal phase which pushes your temp down for a day. It's normal, common and in no way means that you did not conceive this cycle. I'll bet your temp rises again tomorrow.

Can't a dip in temp also mean implantation?

I had that w/ my ds around 8dpo and again at 12dpo.

For this cycle I just had a MAJOR temp drop 5dpo and I'm on prog sup, so I'm wondering what's going on w/ me too since it's way too early in my cycle for it.

yes I am 7dpo! i had a dip at 5dpo too...I had my progesterone test today so i am praying for high numbers! Guess we will know tomorrow!

HI there: How far down did it fall? In any event, I was going to say what Meriwether said ... that secondary estrogen surge can make temps fall about a week after O, which is where you are now. Let's hope that it goes back up tomorrow and that your prog. comes back nice and high too!
