brenda...do you have any temps prior to cd10?

it *looks* like you may have O'd on cd 10. the temps following and the fact that you had ewcm are consistent with that. the drop 7 days later is completely normal. we usually get a temporary, secondary surge in estrogen approx a week after O. you'll probably see it go back up.

do you have a *usual* O day? would it be consistent with your previous cycles to O on cd 10?

well, my temp at cd7 was 97.5 then it went up to 97.7 then down to 97.6 on cd10. then it continuously went up until this morning when it went down. i thought i o'd on cd 11 or 12 because of the temp spike to 98.3 on cd 13. i dont have a usual o day because i think this may have been the first time i o'd since being off bcp last October.

I'm still new at temping but I heard that sometimes the biggest spike you see may not be when you O. It could have been the lower one. It may be hard to decipher if you don't really know what day you usually O. A progesterone check could determine that you did O. However, that blood test is usually done around CD21-23 (if you cycle is about 28 days).

Hope I didn't confuse you too much.

brenda.....the reason i noted cd10 was due to your notation re: ewcm. did you continue to have ewcm after cd10? because yes, you could've O'd on cd12, but if your cm had dried up by then, then i'll stand by my original cd10.

Hi there: It seems like your temp of 97.9 is still above your coverline, which (if I'm reading your temps right) seems to be 97.8. As long as that's true, you're still in the running (my temp went down to my coverline 3 times when I was pg with dd!).

Good luck and keep us posted!

DKNY-i couldn't tell if i had any cm after cd10 because i was having so much bms. does that happen to anyone else??? it seems like it dries up after sex and the only thing i get sometimes is wet stuff which is probably left over from the hubby....not sure.

also anothr quick question...how do you know what your coverline is?

Hi Brenda!

Your coverline is drawn .1 degree above the highest temp of your six temps leading up to your rise. So for you, it looks like the 97.7 was your highest temp before the 97.9 on cd 11. Is that right? So, I would draw it at 97.8.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++++
Maura

Hi Maura- thanks for the info...what cd are you on...are we on the same one? maybe we can see what similiar symptoms we have. i have a little cramping today. i told you my temp went back up. but that's about it. i think my lower back hurt a little yesterday. but these symptoms could very well be in my head..if you know what i mean!
