Ladies,
Whenever I've been ttc, I've never had an issue with an annovulatory cycle, so I don't really know what to make of this ... I'm now on CD16 and still no +opk. My cm is sticky/creamy. Back on cd10, I had profuse eggwhite cm that lasted through cd14, so DH and I took full advantage of cds 11 and 14. Never before have I had ewcm that early in a cycle, and never before have I had ewcm quite like it (abundant). I'm not taking any herbal supplements or even Robitussin this cycle. I had terrible mittelschmertz pain on cd 14, but I was still getting -opk (2 different brands of opk, too). Do you think I have possibly had an annovulatory cycle? Just looking for some explanations ... Thanks! CarolinaGirl

it doesn't sound annovulatory based on your symptoms. are you certain all of your OPK's were neg? were they digital or the ones with the lines?
for the sake of tracking and counting, i'd pick up O day as cd 14/15. i know you said your sleep pattern is erratic, but temping would probably really help. all you need is a solid 3 hours of consecutive sleep to be able to temp. good luck!

Hi Meriwether: I don't think it sounds anovulatory either! What cd did you start OPKing, by the way? It's possible that the OPK just didn't work this month, for whatever reason, but that you did O around cd 14/15, as Dina said.
That said, if it were me, I would stop OPKing, but keep BMSing just in case (I'd probably do it through cd 20 because I've been known to O that late). Can't hurt! Good luck and keep us posted++++++++++ Maura |

Thanks, ladies. I was using both dip-stick opks and the digital smiley-face, but I only use the digital if I cannot interpret the dip-stick. I'm now back to thicker, pasty cm, so I know that O has passed. But, given the consistency of cm between cds 10-14, I think we hit the days that we needed to.
I'll also try to start temping again. Have a great day! CarolinaGirl |
