Hi ladies,

When is the earliest anyone has seen a + HPT? I know it depends on ovulation, but if I got a + OPK on cd 16, when do you think is the earliest I should see a + HPT?

Depends...did you trigger? If so, you should wait atleast 10 days to be sure it's out of your system and you're not gonna see a false +.

Hi Jeannie: With a ++OPK on cd 16, you could O on cd 16, cd 17 or cd 18. And then implantation can be anywhere from 6-12 dpo (but it doesn't show up in urine right away). The earliest ++HPT I've ever seen here was 9 dpo. The earliest ++HPT I've experienced myself was 10 dpo, but it was SO faint that it was very hard to see!

To be conservative, I'd go with a cd 18 O and then I would wait until at least cd 28-30 (if not cd 32) to test. And even then, I'd keep in mind that it's SO early and you can easily get a false negative!
