I have foudn cervical position to be less than reliable as a primary fertility sign. How it feels (texture - hard soft open or closed) is however a good indicator of increased fertility.

Here is a website based off the book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It has a primer on fertility signs, including cervical position:
http://www.ovusoft.com/library/primer005.asp In summary, when you are fertile, your cervix should be soft, high, open and wet (abbreviation is "SHOW"). Hope that helps !Good luck+++++++++++++++ Maura |
