Back Again

Hey Everyone,

Its been awhile since I last checked in. Just a quick update on my situation now. My hubby is now in Fort McMurray working and I recently went out to visit him. He likes what he's doing and is saving like crazy for an apartment for us. I am still home in Newfoundland passing the days away at nothing lol. The funny thing is since I went to visit him I haven't started my period. I was supposed to start yesterday and nothing. I got a First Response pregnancy test and I tested tonight and there is one really dark line on it and a very very very faint line on it. Anyone used these before? Do you think it would make a difference if I tested first thing in the morning? I can't believe that I could be pregnant not after all the crap we have went through. I'm not even taking fertility drugs now. I'm scared and worried and I feel like my stomach is rolling wondering if I am. Am I just setting myself up for disappointment? Someone ground me please cause I feel like I'm about to fly off at any minute lol.

hi ya

stranger things have happend ya know.

are you using first repsonse early or the regular one? i'm not a fan of the FRED because it has been known to give false pos's. i had gotten one myself.

FMU is usally more desirable to use because it would have heavier concentration of hcg that's built up over the night. it can make the difference in the results especially so early on.

my 2 favorite hpts are clear blue and ept. i've always found them to be reliable.

if you can stand the wait, i'd wait another day or 2 and re-test. please update us and good luck!!!!

I used the First Response Early Result as it was all my pharmacy had lol. Living out in the outports of NEwfoundland is sooooo much fun. I'm going away for the weekend so I will get a different test then. Maybe I'll go on a road trip and get one tonight lmao. The things you do when you want to know if you are pregnant.

Well I went and got a Clear Blue test. I did it tonight and the line across in the plus sign was really dark but the line going down is very faint. I wish I had something to compare it to or for someone to look at it. I tried taking a picture with my camera but its too small for my camera to pick up lol. I think I'm going to go to the hospital tomorrow and ask for a blood test but I'm scared that I am not pregnant lol. And at the same time I am thinking to myself if I am pregnant how the heck did it happen so easily? lol I am confused befuddled and anxious. I'll let y'all know if I get the results tomorrow.

Newf: that happened to me about 2ww ago... I couldn't believe i was preg... it doesn't matter if one of the lines is lighter than the other if you see the line or the cross is a BFP... I'm already 7 weeks... and I wasn't taking any meds either... I hope you get a positive beta...

you can go to peeonastick.org or .com... you can google it... there is some hpt pics...

Well I have decided to wait until Monday to go to the hospital and get a blood test done. I had some minor cramping last night like I get when AF is about to appear but still nothing in that department. If there's still nothing by Monday off to the hospital I go and then I will know for sure.
